Welcome to our support group. You will notice that we now have two names. When we first reorganized and started Diabetics United of Orange County we had hopes of attracting all types of diabetics to our meetings. This has not worked out and after a year of operation we find that our membership has remained almost entirely insulin using persons and their support people. In fact, the vast majority use insulin pumps. 

We are therefor changing our approach and will be working more closely to offer support for these individuals. We still hope our programs informative enough to encourage all diabetics to take advantage of the information, education and support we offer.

There is no charge for membership. Just show up at a meeting. If you wish to be on our mailing list and receive a monthly newsletter and notice of meetings, send your email address to the address below. Topics for the year are listed on the Schedule of Events page.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at the St Joseph Medical Pavilion Building, 1140 West La Veta, Orange. This is one block east of Main Street at Pepper. The building is on the south side of the street (right side coming from Main). The meeting is at the far end of the first floor lobby. Free parking is available only at the attached parking structure. Twenty four hour security is ongoing and escort service is provided on request. Wheelchairs are available with prior notice.
